How secure is your facility?
At Bionic Self Storage, we aim highly to provide our customers with a secure environment to store their goods. We have on site care takers, CCTV with the latest back to base monitoring, sensor lights, secure fencing, and a 6ft gate controlled by pincode access.
Do you have a courtesy trailer?
Yes, we have a 7ft x 4ft caged trailer, available for customers free of charge to move your goods into your space on the day. If you would like to hire it to move your goods out of the facility a $50 fee applies to use for the day.
What happens if I do not pay my rent?
Rent is paid monthly in advance. If rent is not paid according to the Terms of the Self-Storage Agreement we may be forced to sell the contents of the storage space to recover debt. A $20 late fee applies with every 7 days payment is overdue.
How often can I access my space?
You can access your goods 7 days a week 365 days a year from 5am to 7pm, 24 hour access can be provided in special circumstances.
Are the containers water tight and secure?
Yes the containers are water tight as they are shipped over on ships and have to endure a lot of rough weather. The containers have an option to allow up to 6 locks to be put on the doors so in our opinion this can be a very safe option rather than a shed that only allows one or 2 locks.
Do the shipping containers get extremely hot?
Like anything that is closed up and in the sun it can get warm inside, but containers don’t get as hot as people think. They have small vents in them to allow some air flow.
How much notice is required to vacate my space?
We require 7 days notice.
Are you open public holidays?
Yes all holiday’s except Christmas day and boxing day
Do you have a removalist?
No but we have a list of highly recommended removalist’s that we can provide
Are there any items that you aren’t permitted to store?
Any goods that are illegal, stolen, flammable, explosive, environmentally harmful, hazardous, perishable or that are a risk to the property of any person. e.g. Chlorine, acid, paint and petrol. You must also not store goods that are irreplaceable such as currency, jewellery, furs, deeds, painting’s, works of art and items of personal sentimental value.
